Hard-hitting Jacob Smith to go for broke vs Rodtang at ONE 169: "I'm coming to do as much damage as I can"

English striker Jacob Smith hopes to put his high-octane style and power to good use when he takes to the Circle at ONE 169 on Nov. 8.

That evening inside the Lumpinee Stadium, the Bad Company and Thaifist affiliate squares off against Rodtang Jitmuangnon for the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title.

Knowing what's at stake alongside an eagerness to pull one back against Rodtang, Jacob Smith vows to go full throttle and let his hands fly to shut down 'The Iron Man' from the opening bell.

Speaking exclusively to Sportskeeda MMA, the British Muay Thai standout said:

"I'm coming to do as much damage as I can and to be as dominant as I possibly can and take that gold from him."

While the path to victory over Rodtang would not be that straightforward, Smith has plenty of weapons at his disposal to throw the Thai off his game and secure the most important win of his career.

Plus, having suffered a painful defeat to 'The Iron Man' in his promotional bow at ONE 157 in May 2022, Smith has done all the necessary homework to ensure he doesn't get caught off guard in their rematch next month.
