Jacob Smith says martial arts plays major role in his family’s life: “Their life revolves around Muay Thai as much as mine does”

ONE Championship flyweight Muay Thai contender Jacob Smith of the United Kingdom says Muay Thai is a firm fixture in his family's life.

The 32-year-old Bad Company / Thaifist representative has dedicated his everyday to the 'art of eight limbs' and this, of course, involves getting his family into his routine as a professional fighter.

Luckily for Smith, his family loves Muay Thai, and they all train in it.

Speaking to Cageside Press in a recent interview, Smith talked about including his family in his training routine.

The Englishman said:

"I’ve got my own gym as well, Thaifist. So I’m there, my missus is there, and my kids have no choice but to be there. Well, they have no choice but to be there. And now they absolutely love it. Their life revolves around Muay Thai as much as mine does. They absolutely love it."

Needless to say, Smith must be at his absolute best when he steps into the ONE Championship ring for his next outing. He'll be taking on arguably the world's best in the division, and a bonafide Muay Thai megastar.
