Jake Paul applauds Dana White's Donald Trump speech at RNC, says they could be "friends"

Jake Paul recently applauded Dana White for his speech in support of Donald Trump at the Republican National Committee (RNC) and stated he and White could become friends. The YouTuber-turned-boxer hasn't shied away from sharing his thoughts on White in the past as he has taken several jibes at him ahead of his fights.

'The Problem Child' has been at odds with the UFC CEO for quite some time after the 55-year-old essentially dismissed him as a legitimate boxer. The PFL star has built up quite a rivalry with MMA fighters as he has fought and defeated the likes of Nate Diaz, Tyron Woodley and Anderson Silva.

During his recent appearance on FULL SEND PODCAST, the 27-year-old appeared to have a change of heart regarding his feelings towards White. Paul complimented White for his RNC speech and mentioned that although they share similar beliefs, his only gripe is that he wants to see fighter pay increase. He said:

"[White's] RNC speech, bro, was amazing. Like, we agree on so many things. And I think he has a great side to him and I'm sure we'd be friends, you know, maybe in this life, maybe in a different life. I just want fighters to get paid more."

Dana White claims he doesn't have animosity towards Jake Paul

Despite the belief that Dana White doesn't like Jake Paul, that doesn't appear to be the case as the UFC CEO claimed he doesn't have any animosity towards the YouTuber-turned-boxer.

During a recent interview with TNT Sports, White mentioned that he didn't care for Paul calling out Alex Pereira following his win over Mike Perry and noted that he stopped following his career after his lone loss to Tommy Fury. He said:

"The media just eats all of this bullsh*t and they actually print it, it's the weirdest thing ever...I was on vacation in Italy. I had no idea, there's all these stories that were written, it's ridiculous. I stopped paying attention to Jake Paul when he lost to [Tommy] Fury...I don't even think about him anymore...I have no beef with him."
