Jake Paul calls Cristiano Ronaldo's record-breaking YouTube entry "insane", but says MrBeast's numbers will always be out of touch
Jake Paul, a YouTuber, knows a thing or two about the platform. Thus, he had something to say about the overnight success of Cristiano Ronaldo's YouTube channel, UR Cristiano, which became the fastest-ever channel to reach one million subscribers, doing so in 90 minutes.
Just two days after its debut, UR Cristiano has 43.3 million subscribers. The numbers are astonishing, even drawing praise from 'The Problem Child,' who transitioned from YouTube to sports—boxing and MMA, in particular. While speaking to TMZ in an exclusive interview, Paul was full of praise.
"It's insane, man. I worked my whole life and got to like 22 subscribers and he beat that in like 24 hours. It just shows his star power. It's absurd, man. But kudos to him and hopefully he drops some awesome videos and I think it's dope that he's on the platform."
However, when asked by TMZ if there was any hope of Ronaldo reaching MrBeast's subscriber count, which sits at 312 million, the influencer boxing didn't mince his words.
"I don't think so. I don't think so. I think, at some point, that it'll slow down and then he'll just kind of plateau."

While Paul spoke highly of Ronaldo's YouTube success, there's been little interaction between the pair, despite the legendary footballer's growing interest in combat sports.
In fact, he was ringside for Anthony Joshua's stunning seventh-round knockout of Robert Helenius, even sitting next to former UFC double champion Conor McGregor.
Cristiano Ronaldo is friends with one of Jake Paul's rivals
While Jake Paul has never expressed any animosity toward Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese superstar has developed something of a friendship with Conor McGregor. The two men have been spotted in each other's company several times throughout the years, including in the infancy of the Irishman's stardom.

They had a photo-op and years later sat ringside at the aforementioned Anthony Joshua stoppage of Robert Helenius. For his part, 'The Problem Child' has not spoken ill of Ronaldo's friendship with McGregor, despite his issues with the Irishman and frequent attempts at goading him into a fight.
