Jake Paul explains approach to Mike Perry boxing bout: "This guy has a lot of holes"
Jake Paul recently discussed his approach for his upcoming boxing bout against Mike Perry and noted that he plans to expose his weaknesses. The YouTuber-turned-boxer will look to continue his winning ways as he takes on a former UFC competitor that has surged in popularity since he transitioned to BKFC.
'The Problem Child' was originally scheduled to fight Mike Tyson on July 20, but the bout was postponed to November after the former heavyweight champion sustained a minor setback with his health. Instead of waiting for the rescheduled bout, Paul decided to remain active and got another bout booked against Perry for July 20.
During a recent face-to-face ahead of this Saturday's boxing bout, 'The Problem Child' opened up about what he has noticed in 'Platinum's' bouts so far. Paul mentioned that he intends to make it look easy against Perry and even took a jibe at the BKFC star's competition. He said:
"This guy has a lot of holes. [Perry] has good offense, that's why he's great at bare-knuckle. He's a great offensive fighter. When he goes all with the wild sh*t, like, those guys don't know how to get out of the way of it. They're amateurs...This is a different sport, this is a different ball game and the fact that he has his chin in the air and his defense sucks, he's gonna get exposed in less than six minutes."

Mike Perry expresses interest in MMA bout against Jake Paul
There is a possibility that Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry could be more than just a boxing match as the BKFC star expressed interest in an MMA bout as well.
During the aforementioned face-to-face, 'Platinum' mentioned that after they compete in their boxing match this Saturday, he wouldn't be opposed to a rematch in MMA. Paul and the PFL had offered Nate Diaz the same opportunity last year, but the Stockton native appeared to favor a return to the UFC instead. Perry said:
"I don't why these other [MMA] guys didn't do it [accept an MMA bout] with [Paul]...I thought [Nate] Diaz would be interesting considering his Jiu Jitsu but I'd love to do it if you're still up for it after I beat you in boxing on Saturday...Why not? It's fun, it's just a fight. Good time."
