Jake Paul explains why brother Logan changed opinion about outcome of 'The Problem Child's' upcoming fight with Anderson Silva: "He knew that I was gonna exterminate 'The Spider'"

It seems like Jake Paul has finally convinced his older brother, Logan Paul, of his ability to beat Anderson Silva this weekend.

Paul is preparing to face the MMA legend in a boxing match on October 29. Silva is known for his incredible striking skills, and many feel that this will be the first test of the Cleveland native's boxing career. His most noteworthy past opponents Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren had a wrestling base and minimal background in striking.

Despite 'The Problem Child' having a big age advantage, some people feel like 'The Spider' will be a step too far for him. One such person was his older brother Logan.

'The Maverick's' doubts were mentioned to Jake Paul in a recent interview with 'The Schmo'. 'The Problem Child' said that his brother was simply looking out for him and that he was able to change Logan's mind:

"He was just looking out. He was scared, I mean, it is 'The Spider' Anderson Silva. And Logan was like, 'Hey are you sure you wanna do this?' But once he saw me spar, he knew that I was gonna exterminate 'The Spider'."

Jake Paul will look to shock the world once again when he steps into the ring to face 'The Spider' tomorrow night.

Jake Paul speaks on the danger presented by Anderson Silva

Jake Paul is getting ready for the biggest fight of his career when he faces off against Anderson Silva. The bout is scheduled to take place on October 29 in Arizona.

'The Problem Child' is currently undefeated in the ring, but many feel that he has bitten off more than he can chew against 'The Spider'. The Brazilian's experience, coupled with his savvy skillset on the feet, makes Silva the toughest test of Paul's career on paper.

Given the age difference – Silva is 47 and Paul 25 – there are some fans who feel that this fight is a mismatch. Not according to Paul, however, who recently sat down to speak to Sky Sports Boxing. 'The Problem Child' highlighted the danger presented by Silva:

"He's very dangerous. The man hasn't left the gym, he's on a KO streak. He's a super-freak athlete. And so I can't take him lightly, he's got way more experience than me. While that age could maybe slow him down, he has all the experience that I don't have."
