Jake Paul talks wearing "most expensive fight outfit" worth $1 million for Mike Tyson boxing match, teases walkout plans
The Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight will be preceded by quite a bit of pageantry. 'The Problem Child' intends to walk out while wearing one of the most extravagant outfits ever. Boxing is no stranger to such displays, however, Paul's aim to wear the most expensive attire possible is a first.
He revealed his plans in episode #10 of Talk Tuah with Hailey Welch, with 'The Problem Child' detailing his idea to steal the show during his walkout before facing Tyson.
"This outfit I've made for the fight is the most expensive fight outfit in the history of boxing. It's $1 million, so it cost a pretty penny and it's very shiny. That's the hints I will give for the walkout. I'm gonna be driving in a certain vehicle to the ring."
Check out a tease for Jake Paul's fight outfit (59:12):
Paul will look to improve his professional boxing record to 11-1 by beating Tyson this Friday. Unfortunately, the matchup is marred by controversy surrounding Tyson's advanced age. He is 58 years old, has an age difference of 31 years with Paul, and has already experienced health scares.
Despite being significantly more accomplished and skilled than Paul, Tyson has drawn tremendous concern from the combat sports world, with many feeling that he is too old to beat Paul. However, Tyson is adamant about his readiness and determined to prove his doubters wrong.
Jake Paul is following in the footsteps of other boxing stars
Boxing, and even MMA, is no stranger to pageantry. However, the art of walkout outfits is often lost on others. Jake Paul hopes to bring more attention to it, but other boxers have resorted to extravagant outfits before him. Among them is heavyweight great Tyson Fury, who once showed up in Spartan apparel.
Fury's longtime rival, Deontay Wilder, is another, once wearing a black, heavily armored outfit that he blamed for exhausting him in one of his stoppage losses to 'The Gypsy King'. Paul will be careful not to make the same mistake.
