Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury reportedly pushed back after Floyd Mayweather fight announcement
It looks like Jake Paul and Tommy Fury will be facing each other a day later than originally scheduled. The reports surfaced a day after Floyd Mayweather announced his exhibition bout against Aaron Chalmers on the same date.
This is the third attempt at matching up 'TNT' and 'The Problem Child' in the boxing ring after the previous two bookings failed to materialize.
Paul and Fury were reportedly set to box on February 25 in Saudi Arabia, as was confirmed by MMA journalist Ariel Helwani. However, he recently tweeted an update about the contest being pushed by a day to February 26.
"The Jake Paul x Tommy Fury fight is likely ending up on Feb. 26, sources say. Was originally scheduled for Feb. 25. Expect an announcement shortly."

It is worth noting that the 26-year-old hinted at their fight being called off for the third time with a cryptic tweet about Fury expecting a child with girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague. Paul asked his fans to "hold their horses" and wrote:
"Hold your horses. The man’s having a baby."
Interestingly, Floyd Mayweather also confirmed his bout against British TV star Aaron Chalmers on February 25 at the O2 Arena in London. Considering the timing of the announcement and the date, many have wondered if postponing Jake Paul's next fight vs. Tommy Fury was to prevent a clash between the two events.
Jake Paul next fight: Tommy Fury not worried about 'The Problem Child' trash-talking him
Tommy Fury will face Jake Paul in his next fight and it seems the 23-year-old is not fazed by his adversary's penchant for talking smack.
After their first December 2021 date was canceled due to Fury breaking a rib, and the second date for August 2022 scrapped due to the 23-year-old being denied entry to the USA, there is no lack of ammunition for shooting verbal shots leading up to the fight.
Nevertheless, it seems the two undefeated boxers are gearing up for a February 26 showdown in Saudi Arabia, with Tommy Fury stating that he isn't bothered by the reckless trash-talking.
In a recent appearance on the Disrupters Podcast, Fury claimed that he views the fight with Jake Paul as a business opportunity and stated:
"He doesn't get underneath my skin like that. He can't get underneath my skin because I know what he's doing. He's a whizz on social media, he's made a living off being an idiot, arrogant and calling people out. It is what it is but he can't get underneath my skin."
