Jake Paul wants to "decapitate" Alex Pereira but believes Dana White will veto the fight: "These guys aren’t their own bosses"

Jake Paul's ambition appears boundless as the influencer turned boxer took to calling out Alex Pereira for a boxing match following his KO win over Mike Perry on 20 July. Paul is confident that he could put 'Poatan' away in a boxing clash, but is less confident that the fight will happen.

'The Problem Child' once again took jibes at UFC CEO Dana White, as well as the promotion's fighters in general while discussing his callout of Pereira.

As arguably the most devastating striker in MMA right now, the UFC light heavyweight champion would certainly be Paul's toughest test in the ring, should the pair square off.

Following his clash with Perry, the American appeared in front of the media where he was asked about his callout of the two-division champion. He said this:

"[Pereira's] tweeted about wanting to go into boxing. We got him on FaceTime right there in the ring, and I said, 'Can you get out of your contract?' If he can get out of his contract, then let's run it. When I asked him, he had a pause, he looked at his manager. These guys aren't their own bosses."

He continued:

"I want all the smoke. But at the end of the day, will Dana [White] let him out [of his contract]? It's too big of a risk, if I embarrass his No.1 praised fighter right now... He's the king right now of the UFC, I want him. I'm gonna decapitate [Pereira] and dethrone him."

Alex Pereira responds to Jake Paul's callout

Alex Pereira is in a thoroughly unique place right now, with some of the biggest names in boxing and MMA discussing his talents, and possibly facing the Brazilian.

Former heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua recently recommended that 'Poatan' enter the world of boxing.

Pereira's name has also been uttered by MMA GOAT Jon Jones, who believes a clash with the light heavyweight champion is possibly the biggest fight in the sport.

Following Jake Paul's recent win over Mike Perry, 'The Problem Child' was able to get ahold of the 37-year-old on FaceTime. The UFC light heavyweight champion has now responded to Paul in typical Pereira fashion, taking to Instagram and posting this:

"Let's go!! Chama."
