Jake Shields lauds Renato Moicano's no-holds-barred UFC Paris interview: "No sport has based athletes like the UFC"
Jake Shields often voices his opinion on various issues through his social media handles. This time, the California native appreciated Renato Moicano's unfiltered take on globalization during his UFC Paris in-octagon interview.
Moicano picked up a horrible shoulder injury during his training camp three weeks before the night of UFC Paris. Still, the Brazilian didn't allow it to slow his pace, as he earned a convincing TKO (doctor's stoppage) victory against the local boy, Benoit Saint-Denis.
What followed Moicano's victory was a blistering in-octagon interview with Michael Bisping, where the 34-year-old went no-holds-barred. He even went on to diss the French president, Emmanuel Macron, along with other globalists for trying to push their agenda.
Shields expressed his appreciation for Moicano's unfiltered commentary about the issue with a tweet. He posted:
"No sport has based athletes like the UFC"
Renato Moicano expresses discontent with multiple issues in France
Moicano's rage during his UFC Paris interview indicated that he must have been through some untoward experiences. The Brazilian lightweight recently expressed his discontent regarding various factors related to his UFC Paris encounter.
The 'Show Me The Money' podcast co-host detailed the points of his discontent with the French authorities with a tweet.
"Go to France no bonus.... France usada [testing authority] try to fck me up on the weight ins.... France government takes a lot of my money... the only think missing is not being on the top 6 tomorrow #ufc #mma"

Moicano also has a major factor to cheer himself up, apart from being mad about the French authorities. One of the two fighters he called out during his interview has already accepted his challenge. But it remains to be seen if he can make 'easy money' out of the fight as he intended.
