Jamahal Hill hunting for Alex Pereira rematch irrespective of Jiri Prochazka fight outcome: "I don't give a f**k if they offer me a title shot"
Jamahal Hill returned to the octagon just 10 months after suffering a torn Achilles tendon to face Alex Pereira in the main event of UFC 300. While 'Sweet Dreams' lost the bout via first-round knockout, he has been vocal about his desire for a rematch, suggesting that the finish was caused by a brief moment where the two fighters were separated.
The No.3-ranked light heavyweight once again expressed his interest in a rematch, whether 'Poatan' wins or loses when he faces Jiri Prochazka at UFC 303 this weekend. Speaking on his YouTube channel, The Champ Chat Podcast, Hill claimed:
"Alex has got his own task ahead of him. This weekend, he's fighting Jiri Prochazka, defending the title. Best of luck to you in your fight in this rematch with Jiri because if you lose, I don't give a f**k if they offer me a title shot. It's me and you. You win, I'm going to go starch the next guy and I'll see you soon. You lose, I see you real soon."

Hill has faced backlash from fans for his pre-fight trash talk to Pereira and blaming the loss on referee Herb Dean not giving the fighters a clean break and reset after calling time out.
He was in line to make his return to the octagon at UFC 303, however, he was forced to withdraw with an injury, making it unclear when he will be back in action.
What caused Jamahal Hill to withdraw from UFC 303?
Jamahal Hill appeared set to make a quick turnaround and return to the octagon at UFC 303. He was initially booked to face Khalil Rountree Jr., however, his opponent was forced to withdraw and he was rebooked against Carlos Ulberg.
'Sweet Dreams' was also forced out of the bout, however, which he explained in an Instagram post, stating:
"2 tears in my meniscus, sprained my ACL a Baker Cyst that leaked fluid in the back of my knee and a infusion in some joints!!! There were actually 3 of these. This is only making me hungrier. Be back soon!!!"

It is unclear how long the injury will keep Hill sidelined. The former light heavyweight champion will likely need at least one more win to re-enter the division's title picture.
