Jamahal Hill believes he will knock out Magomed Ankalaev if he fights the Russian
Jamahal Hill is open to the possibility of fighting Magomed Ankalaev as his next opponent. The Grand Rapids native is brimming with confidence now more than ever as the light heavyweight champion. With Magomed Ankalaev pecking at his throne, it is only a matter of time before they fight.
In an interview with James Lynch of Lynch On Sports, Hill acknowledged that Ankalaev is deserving of a title fight:
"He's right there at the top so he's put himself in position to be considered for those things. I'm not just going to sit and be like, 'He didn't deserve it,' he's up at the top. If I'm ready to go and I'm ready to fight, I fight who's available. I wouldn't mind knocking him the f**k out just for the simple fact that people keep bringing his name up talking to me."
Jamahal Hill put on a clinic against the highly experienced Glover Teixeira in his last fight and shocked a lot of people. He will look to do the same if he fights Ankalaev in the future
