Jan Blachowicz drills into Magomed Ankalaev for 'bullsh**' excuses after draw at UFC 282

Jan Blachowicz has a message for Magomed Ankalaev following their controversial UFC 282 bout.

The pair fought at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada earlier this month in the main event of UFC 282 for the vacant UFC light-heavyweight title. The fight was controversially scored as a draw, with people from both sides saying one of them should have won that fight. Blachowicz initially did not believe he did enough to win the fight.

When Joe Rogan interviewed him just after his fight, he said he didn't think he did enough to win the fight and that he would have to rewatch it. However, in a recent interview with MMA Fighting he rewatched the fight and had this to say about Magomed Ankalaev's 'excuses':

"Excuses. I hate when someone say it like this, It pisses me off when someone uses excuses. I never say that my camp was bad, I have injuries or something like this. If you feel bad, stay home, drink tea with honey and relax. If you go to the fight, don’t excuse yourself. It just shows your weakness and that’s it."

Jan Blachowicz believes that he was better than Ankalaev fought on that day. Despite having the odds stacked against him, the Polish fighter shocked everyone and did not allow Ankalaev to completely execute his gameplan. He despises his opponent for using 'excuses' saying he was injured and his camp was bad.

Jan Blachowicz criticizes Joe Rogan for making a mistake during their UFC 282 interview

Jan Blachowicz believes that during his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan, the UFC commentator made a mistake. Rogan came into the octagon and told Blachowicz that according to him, he lost the fight and the Polish fighter agreed because he had the fifth round in his mind and completely forgot about the rest of the fight:

"Joe Rogan, when he stepped into the octagon, he said for him I lost the fight. That was what I was thinking. He did a mistake that he say something like this to me after the fight. Because everybody who thinks that I lost the fight, watch only the last round. For me, a draw is a fair decision and seriously, I think that I was closer to winning the fight than Ankalaev."

Jan Blachowicz believes he was closer to winning the fight than Magomed Ankalaev. He says that he was one kick away from ending it. Fans have been asking for a rematch ever since the bout, but there is no confirmation from the fighters or the UFC yet.
