Jan Blachowicz shows lack of surprise to news of Glover Teixeira vs. Jamahal Hill title fight
Jan Blachowicz has shared his thoughts on the news of Glover Teixeira and Jamahal Hill fighting for the light heavyweight belt at UFC 283 in Brazil.
In a backstage interview with Aaron Bronsteter, the Polish powerhouse said he was okay with the matchup as he himself would not be ready to fight so quickly again.
The 39-year-old added that he needed to work on his wrestling skills before being able to re-capture the light heavyweight title:
"I'm okay with that. I'm not gonna be ready for that. So, let some things happen... The show must go on. That's it. I believe I will take the belt some day again to Poland. I need to work a little bit [on] some [parts] of the game and everything will be good when I will not forget about the wrestling in the fight. In the beginning of the fight, it was good but later, I didn't work very good with my wreslting. So, this is only what I have to focus [on] and everything will be good and I believe that I can take the belt to Poland."
