The MMA community was shocked when ‘The Baddy’ was awarded a unanimous decision win against Gordon at UFC 282. ‘Flash’ also believes he should have won. The 34-year-old has now called out Pimblett for a rematch in 2023 while mentioning Barstool Sports' Dave Portnoy. He stated on Twitter:
“With all the controversy with our Fight I'd love to run it back with you in London @theufcbaddy I have no ill will towards you, as a matter of fact I really like you @stoolpresidente maybe we can all work together and between Paddy and I there’s no way we can’t help others and we can beat each other up again in the mean time for everyone’s entertainment! The people want it, and we can settle this on your turf @graham_boylan @aliabdelaziz” [sic]
Gordon is referring to UFC 286, which is scheduled to go down in the O2 Arena in London, England, in March 2023.
Two of Pimblett’s four UFC wins were in the O2 Arena. ‘The Baddy’ also gained most of his popularity from his Cage Warriors run in England. It’ll be intriguing to see if the UFC gives ‘Flash’ a rematch after UFC 282.
