Jared Gordon "still salty AF" over Paddy Pimblett decision

UFC lightweight Jared Gordon is still reeling from his unanimous decision loss to Paddy Pimblett and shared multiple tweets of his frustration.

Pimblett and Gordon went head-to-head at UFC 282 back in December. The bout was seen as 'The Baddy's' biggest test in the octagon till date as he was facing an opponent who was more experienced and had shared the cage with Charles Oliveira.

Much of the fight build-up was the Liverpudlian stating that he would finish the bout early with a highlight-reel KO, but instead the two men went the distance in a largely uneventful three-round contest. Despite the lack of excitement, many felt that 'Flash' had done enough to win as he won the stand-up exchanges with Pimblett and defended any attempted takedown from the 28-year-old Englishman.

Joe Rogan & Belal Muhammad didn’t seem to agree with Paddy Pimblett beating Jared Gordon last night.

Paddy Pimblett got the nod on the scorecards via unanimous decision, which has been met with much controversy and is considered by fans to be one of the biggest robberies of 2022.

'Flash' feels the same as the fans and took to Twitter to share a clip from Joe Rogan's podcast, which showed the host admitting he thought Gordon won the fight. Rogan said:

"[Pimblett] shouldn't have won. I thought Jared Gordon won that fight."

The 34-year-old followed up on his post by adding that he is still angered by the decision loss to Pimblett:

"Im ok, still salty AF lol"

UFC analyst Din Thomas admits he'll never interview Paddy Pimblett

Former UFC fighter-turned-analyst Din Thomas recently gave his take on the Paddy Pimblett vs. Ariel Helwani beef from last year.

The Liverpudlian is one of the fastest rising stars in MMA but got himself into hot water in December after inviting Dana White onto his Chattin Pony podcast. The pair previewed UFC 282 before Pimblett went on a tirade against Ariel Helwani, stating he only cared about making money off fighters.

The MMA journalist got his own back at Pimblett by revealing that the 28-year-old once asked to be paid to appear on his show, The MMA Hour, and fans have largely sided with Helwani throughout the drama.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA's Andrew Whitelaw, Thomas stated that he felt both men had a point but wouldn't be inviting Paddy Pimblett onto his show anytime soon:

"This is a situation where I think both guys are right. They both have a point. Depending on the type of media Ariel considers himself to be... I do the same thing, I have shows that I make money off of... Am I mad at Paddy for doing that? Absolutely not. Will I ever have him on one of my shows? Absolutely not."
