But being an athlete of ONE Championship, Brooks gets to witness some of the greatest fighters on the planet in various martial arts disciplines. One such arena that has caught his eye is Muay Thai.
'The Art of Eight Limbs' is such an exciting sport, and Brooks has become a huge fan.
One fight that has caught 'The Monkey God's eye is a potential showdown between ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion 'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon and former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion 'Hands of Stone' John Lineker.
Lineker recently made his Muay Thai debut in the world's largest martial arts organization, quickly jumping out to an impressive 2-0 start with two knockouts.
Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview, Brooks shared his thoughts on Lineker's chances against Rodtang if the two fought.
'The Monkey God' said:
"Well, Rodtang is not dumb to leave his hands down with John."
Lineker is known for his one-punch knockout power, and ability to separate opponents from their senses with a single blow.
Fans would love to see Rodtang and Lineker go at it, and only time will tell if this fight actually gets made.
Jarred Brooks believes Rodtang Jitmuangnon is too much of a complete fighter for John Lineker
If a fight between 'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon and 'Hands of Stone' John Lineker ever comes to fruition, 'The Monkey God' Jarred Brooks knows who he's betting on.
The 31-year-old Mash Fight Team representative believes Rodtang is far too much of a superior offensive fighter, with a complete arsenal of weapons that would be too much for Lineker to handle.
Brooks told Sportskeeda MMA:
"I could see either Rodtang playing him on the outside with kicks or KO with an elbow on the inside."
