Jiri Prochazka says misunderstandings led to USADA's frequent visits
Jiri Prochazka is opening up about USADA testing him more often than any other active UFC fighter.
While speaking with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, Prochazka explained why USADA visited him at such a high frequency over the past year. The former UFC light heavyweight champion mentioned that it was a result of a series of misunderstandings between him and the anti-doping agency:
"After I vacate the title, USADA [testing] is going down right now, so we're glad with that. If they will hear that, thank you for that... Sometimes I did some mistakes with that [whereabouts] and there was a lot of misunderstandings but now it's good." [1:25:45 - 1:26:36]

'Denisa' added that the USADA representatives would show up at his home in the early hours of the morning and described the process that he went through:
"They came everytime around 5-6am and that was every time nice morning with them [USADA]. Take my blood twice from the hand...from the shoulder, then they took the urine. It was really funny - three-four months with them... Sometimes they send some [official] from another state to be sure they do that correctly." [1:26:45 - 1:27:33]
Prochazka is currently recovering from shoulder surgery and is expected to be out of action for a lengthy period.
Based on the timeline for his return, the winner of the upcoming Glover Teixeira vs. Jamahal Hill fight for the vacant UFC light heavyweight championship could possibly even defend their title before the Czech returns.
