Jo Nattawut says Tawanchai fights are just like any other: "I feel like every match is significant"

'Smokin' Jo Nattawut admits nothing, in particular, stands out from his scraps alongside ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai compared to any of his past fights.

The Thai Top Team warrior is locked in for a rubber match with the divisional king at ONE 169: Atlanta inside State Farm Arena on Nov. 8. Despite putting on a pair of brilliant performances, even leaving fans questioning the outcome of their redo earlier this year, the latter trails 0-2 in their head-to-head tally.

As fun as it was, the 35-year-old doesn't think he learned a handful from the 24 minutes he's shared with the PK Saenchai Muay Thai Gym megastar. Looking back at his rivalry and the lessons he picked up, Jo Nattawut told Sportskeeda MMA:

"I wouldn't say that match in particular has taught me anything. I feel like every match is significant, and I always learn a thing or two from each fight."

Before he attempts to pull one back against one of the best strikers of this generation, 'Smokin' Jo will have to give his next assignment — another guaranteed barnburner — his utmost attention.

He goes toe-to-toe with Superbon in a featherweight Muay Thai matchup, which serves as the main event of ONE Friday Fights 81 this Friday, Sept. 27.

Superbon says Jo Nattawut's power won't surprise him: "I have fought with a lot of heavy punchers"

In the opposite corner, ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon won't underestimate what his foe brings to the table. That said, he doesn't make much of Jo Nattawut's knockout power.

In a separate interview with the promotion, the Superbon Training Camp megastar shared:

“Jo is indeed a heavy hitter. But I have fought with a lot of heavy punchers like him, like Marat Grigorian, Giorgio Petrosyan, and Chingiz Allazov in kickboxing."
