Joe Rogan is amazed by Unreal Engine 5's lifelike graphics: "This is so good, it's spooky"
Joe Rogan is fearful of what artificial intelligence, commonly known as AI, can do. As one of the media's most influential figures, Rogan knows that he is constantly subject to criticism and harassment and has seen how his voice has been attempted to be imitated online.
In his conversation with comedian Ari Matti on The Joe Rogan Experience, the host showed a video a fan made faking a conversation he supposedly had with AI. The video caused Rogan to discuss AI as a whole, saying it is "spooky" what the technology can do. Specifically, the 57-year-old told Matti that he believes the graphics in Unreal Engine 5 are "like a real movie."
Rogan said:
"[AI technology is] getting to the point where we're not going to know what things are [and] what things are real. I'm sure you've seen these new Unreal Engines. The most complicated video engines. It's like, this is spooky. It's so good, it's spooky. It looks like a damn movie. Like a real movie."

Rogan brought up the subject almost immediately with Matti as he discussed a controversial video edited by MSNBC that was promoted to make him look as if he was endorsing Kamala Harris. Rogan explained that in the full video, he was complimenting United States Representative Tulsi Gabbard and was taken out of context.
Is Joe Rogan suing MSNBC?
After Tulsi Gabbard publicly called out MSNBC for 'deceptively editing' a video of Joe Rogan talking about her to make it seem as if he was endorsing Kamala Harris, reports surfaced claiming that the UFC analyst was initiating a lawsuit against the media organization.
Rogan has spoken about the controversy on his podcast, clarifying that he was praising Gabbard and not Harris, but did not mention anything about the rumored lawsuit. No credible sources have reported the lawsuit with no information publicly available on any related case.
