Joe Rogan breaks down the "perfect timing" of Superlek's nasty counter-elbow finish of Jonathan Haggerty
Even distinguished MMA personality Joe Rogan was left enamored by Superlek Kiatmoo9's vast fight IQ and ability to craft the perfect game plan against any opponent.
The famed MMA color commentator and renowned podcaster was among those highly impressed by 'The Kicking Machine' 49-second finish of Jonathan Haggerty in the main event of the blockbuster ONE 168: Denver card at the Ball Arena last Sept. 6.
While it was the sheer brutality of that epic counter-elbow that made a lot of headlines, what caught Rogan's eye was how the Thai tactician was able to discern the Brit's patterns and exploit them in the most violent way possible.
He said in the latest episode of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast:
"What I saw that was interesting was someone broke down [the fight]. There was a video breakdown of his tells that Haggerty has a certain hop, and then he goes in. And then Superlek timed it. He tried it earlier in the round and didn't catch it. And in this one, look at this, perfect timing. Oh, my God, perfect elbow."
Superlek, who now stands proudly as a two-sport and two-division world champion, may just be the most dangerous striker on the planet right now. His deadly mix of chaos and precision truly sets him apart from the rest of the competition.

Joe Rogan hails Superlek as a 'bad-as* Muay Thai fighter'
Joe Rogan became a huge Superlek fan after he defeated Rodtang Jitmuangnon in the 'Muay Thai Fight of the Century' last year.
Needless to say, the combat sports analyst has developed a greater admiration for the flyweight kickboxing and bantamweight Muay Thai kingpin after easily dispatching an adversary as dangerous as Jonathan Haggerty. Rogan said:
"Superlek is this badas* Muay Thai fighter, and he fought Jonathan Haggerty. He caught him with that over-the-top elbow, like real quick in the fight. I think it was like 40 seconds. Beautiful KO."
