Joe Rogan breaks down the strategy and planning behind his viral Donald Trump podcast: "I also wanted to be rigid"

Former American President Donald Trump recently appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) podcast, one of the most popular shows hosted by UFC commentator Joe Rogan. Episode #2219, released on Oct. 26, runs nearly three hours and broke numerous records, gaining over 20 million views within just 20 hours.

Rogan, a known critic of Trump, discussed a wide range of topics with him, including his loss in the 2020 election, the current election, an assassination attempt, UFC fighters, the potential elimination of income tax, and more.

Recently, on the JRE Fight Companion broadcast for UFC 308, Rogan was joined by Eddie Bravo, Brendan Schaub, and Bryan Callen. The UFC commentator was asked if he felt nervous interviewing Trump. Rogan replied, saying:

“I was definitely hyped up. I was excited because I wanted to... there were a lot of questions I needed to answer."

When another guest asked if he confronted Trump about why he is so pro-vaccine, Rogan said:

“No, I didn’t. But I also wanted to be rigid because there was a moment when he brought up the polio vaccine. I was like, I don't want to correct him... have you ever seen the chart of when polio actually dropped off when the vaccine was introduced?... When you look at the actual... like there's a bunch of them. Measles is another one, and you look at what actually happened.”

“You’re definitely not a Kamala person” - Donald Trump urges Joe Rogan to not vote for Kamala Harris

In the aforementioned interview, Donald Trump became more comfortable with Joe Rogan as the conversation progressed.

Trump promoted how billionaire Elon Musk has been giving him shout-outs and expressed that Rogan should do the same and not vote for Kamala Harris. He said:

“I’ve been watching you for years. You’re definitely not a Kamala person. You’re a Khabib person—not a Kamala person.”
