Joe Rogan bursts into laughter remembering Sam Smith's viral "fisherthem" clip [VIDEO]
Popular MMA commentator Joe Rogan had his friend and frequent podcast guest Theo Von on the Joe Rogan Experience. Typical of every time the two comedians get together, much of the three-hour podcast saw them joking about a lot of things.
One of the current societal movements the two poked fun at was the advent of gender-neutral pronouns, particularly individuals who go by "they/them" pronouns. Rogan and Von laughed at how they found the concept ridiculous. They also recalled Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Sam Smith referring to himself as a "fisherthem" in an interview with BBC.

On Smith's casual dropping of his newly-coined word, Rogan said (via Joe Rogan Experience):
"What's that f*cking dude's name? The chubby dude that dressed up like the devil and everybody got mad? He's a singer. Sam [gets told who] what's that? Sam Smith. He [laughs] said he wanted to be a 'fisherthem'. Not a fisherman, a fisher-her, a fisher-she [laughs]. A fisherthem! The they/them thing, that's the best evidence you need that people are out of their f*cking minds. You can't be plural you f*cking idiot."

Joe Rogan and Theo Von hilariously try to analyze what "queer" and "pansexual" mean
After speculating what the gender-neutral pronouns mean in society today, Theo Von mentioned that he has a "cool" queer friend who didn't abide by the new "they/them" pronouns. This prompted Rogan to ask what does the word "queer" mean today.
Rogan said (11:03):
"What does 'queer' mean these days? Because when I was a kid 'queer' was gay. If someone was 'queer,' they're gay or if they got punched in the head, then you're on queer street. It was like everything was confusing. 'Queer' was 'confusing', then 'queer' became 'gay' somewhere along the line. But now I think 'queer' is whatever you want it to be. You could be gay, bi, straight, and then you could be, 'pansexual'."
Von then asked what "pansexual" means, to which Joe Rogan said he doesn't know. To this, Von hilariously replied:
"I can barely handle whatever I am, dude. To be real honest, bro. Whatever I am, bro, that keeps j*rking off at night and being afraid to talk to women. So, whatever that one is, that's what I am [laughs]."
To those who are unaware, "pansexuality" is defined by WebMD as the romantic, emotional, and/or sexual attraction to people/individuals regardless of their gender/gender identities.
