Joe Rogan claims he's grown "oddly comfortable" with fans getting his face tattooed on themselves

Joe Rogan recently posted a picture of his face tattooed on someone's leg on Instagram and the 55-year-old seems to have finally gotten used to this trend.

The host of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast (JRE) and UFC color commentator began his career as a stand-up comedian back in 1988 and since then, has amassed a massive loyal fan base. Many of these hardcore fans have gotten his likeness tattooed on themselves.

In a recent post on Instagram, Rogan showed off one such tattoo of his face on someone's leg. He captioned the post:

"I’m oddly comfortable with the bizarrely huge number of people with my face permanently etched on their body. That’s something I could have never imagined would be “normal” to me, but here we are…"

Rogan himself is a fan of body ink, with two sleeve tattoos on both arms. His left arm sports a tattoo of a deity with an open third eye and a picture of the molecular structure of an element. His right arm has a depiction of a legendary Japanese samurai and the author of The Book of Five Rings, Miyamoto Musashi.

Joe Rogan used to find tattoos of him "weird"

Although Joe Rogan seems to have warmed to the idea of fans getting his face tattooed on themselves, he has not always been amused by this trend and has spoken out against it before.

In an episode of JRE (#1336) with Jay Oakerson, Luis J. Gomez, and Dave Smith, Rogan was asked about how he felt when he saw such tattoos:

"So weird, don't do that. Just stop, just stop. "
