Joe Rogan discusses assassination threats on Donald Trump: "There's 5 different kill teams"

Joe Rogan has discussed the recent assassination attempts on Donald Trump's life, as well as addressed the reports that there are multiple "kill teams" seeking out the former president.

Trump is currently in the midst of a an election battle against Kamala Harris, as he looks to become the president of the United States once again. During his presidential campaign, there have been few attempts to take his life.

Back in July, a gunman fired multiple shots in an attempt to assassinate Trump during an election rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The bullets narrowly missed his head, but one damaged his ear and another hit and killed a member of the audience.

A second assassination attempt then took place earlier this month, while Trump was out playing a round of golf in Florida. The gunman was spotted by security before he was able to take a shot, however, and has since been arrested.

Rogan then weighed in on the assassination threats Donald Trump has faced and said:

"There's 5 different kill teams looking for Trump in the country right now? Two of them are domestic. Oh Trump said it? [Rogan doing a Trump impression] 'There's five guys! They think they're gonna get me, they're not gonna get me!'...If there really are 5 different kill teams in the country right now looking for Trump, that's just insane."

Joe Rogan questions how US government will crack down on misinformation without impacting free speech

Joe Rogan recently debated US political commentator Matt Walsh on his JRE podcast, as the pair discussed misinformation in the US and how the government plans to tackle it.

According to Rogan, it is going to be a near-impossible task to police misinformation on the internet, considering it is so readily available. The UFC commentator also noted potential regulations would have to tread a fine line in order not to suppress freedom of speech. He said:

"One of the things that's been discussed is cracking down on misinformation and that free speech doesn't include misinformation. Which is a wild thing to say after what we just went through with COVID, where what people were saying was misinformation turned out to be 100% true."

Rogan continued:

"Who the f*ck gets to decide what's information? Only the government? You guys? The people that have lied about basically everything? This is a crazy thing to say."
