Joe Rogan doubts Mark Zuckerberg's 5,000-square-foot Hawaiian bunker could survive nuclear holocaust: "He's building a hurricane shelter"

Joe Rogan has just offered his thoughts on whether billionaire Mark Zuckerberg's massive underground bunker can withstand a nuclear disaster. He touched on the issue on episode #2174 of The Joe Rogan Experience with investigative journalist Annie Jacobsen.

While the two spoke about the consequences of a nuclear war, the topic of a nuclear fallout arose, with Jacobsen noting that it would happen so quickly that no one would be able to retreat to a protective bunker in time. This prompted Rogan to touch on Zuckerberg's own underground bunker.

"Yeah, all that's nonsense. These people think, like, Zuckerberg is building a bunker in Hawaii, he's going to survive. He's building a hurricane shelter."

Whether Zuckerberg is prepared to deal with a potential doomsday scenario is a topic that may very well grow in popularity in the wake of Rogan's discussion on his podcast, given its popularity. Besides talk of a nuclear fallout, Rogan and Zuckerberg have been in fairly close proximity as of late.

Zuckerberg has been present at various UFC events, and was even in talks to face fellow tech billionaire Elon Musk in a mixed martial arts bout that UFC CEO Dana White was more than happy to promote. Despite a surprising amount of interest, the matchup never arose.

While Zuckerberg was confident in emerging victorious due to his Brazilian jiu-jitsu background and his past training sessions with elite fighters in Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski, the matchup never materialized, largely as a result of Musk revealing that he was never serious about fighting.

Not only is Mark Zuckerberg not a stranger to the UFC, he is also no stranger to The Joe Rogan Experience, having appeared on the podcast before, where he and the UFC commentator bonded over their mutual love of combat sports, among other topics.

Similarly, Rogan has also hosted a Zuckerberg rival and tech billionaire in SpaceX CEO Elon Musk. The pair even had a viral moment with the two of them smoking marijuana together.
