Joe Rogan draws hilarious parallel between John Fetterman and Rick Rubin: "If I'm gonna be rich now"

Joe Rogan recently compared U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania, John Fetterman, to award-winning record producer Rick Rubin. Rogan welcomed fellow comedian Tim Dillon onto episode #2162 of The Joe Rogan Experience, where the pair discussed a host of topics, including American politics.

During the show, the pair specifically mentioned John Fetterman, Senator from Pennsylvania, who suffered a near-fatal stroke in 2022. After recovering from the stroke and whilst still suffering from lasting effects, Fetterman went on to win one of the most competitive seats in the midterm elections.

Since winning the seat and still living with the after-effects of a stroke, Fetterman changed up his lifestyle entirely, which also included his clothing. Whilst most politicians are seen always sporting smart dress such as suits, Fetterman now mostly wears comfortable clothing like hoodies, jeans or shorts.

Rogan specifically noted Fetterman's new outlook on life and his dress sense, comparing him to Rick Rubin. The veteran record producer is also always known to be casually dressed, regardless of the whatever is he doing. The UFC color commentator said:

"I think that's what John Fetterman was getting into when he went into Congress [Wearing casual clothes whilst making money]. He basically said 'I'm gonna be rich now, I'm gonna dress now like Rick Rubin.' Did the stroke knock some sense into him? Hot good takes on everything."

Joe Rogan urges Paige VanZant to reconsider Power Slap

Joe Rogan has offered his take on Paige VanZant's upcoming debut on Dana White's controversial promotion, Power Slap.

VanZant has seen herself bounce around a number of promotions since leaving the UFC in 2020. She briefly stepped into Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), where she lost both her bouts, and then made a switch to boxing, where she fought Elle Brook to a draw.

Rogan, who is a big critic of slap fighting despite his relationship with White, reacted to the news VanZant will be making her Power Slap debut on June 28. According to the UFC color commentator, he'd rather see VanZant do something else and offered up an alternative. He said:

“Don’t do it, Paige… like please ladies you're so, you're both so F***ing pretty don't ruin your faces. The prettiest girls in the sport please… should just abandon it and start making out. Yeah!"
