Joe Rogan drops significant update on Kamala Harris' JRE appearance, Elon Musk reacts
Joe Rogan recently shared an update regarding Kamala Harris potentially appearing on his podcast for a long-form conversation. Soon after, Elon Musk shared his reaction to Rogan's online post.
For context, Rogan recently interviewed Donald Trump on his podcast. Given that Trump and Harris are running against each other in the 2024 U.S. Presidential elections, many questioned whether the UFC commentator would invite the current vice president for a chat on his show.
Rogan later confirmed that while he had extended an invitation, Harris' team informed him about some campaign scheduling conflicts that made her appearing on the Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) podcast difficult. In a recent tweet, Rogan shared an update on the same and wrote:
"For the record, the Harris campaign has not passed on doing the podcast. They offered a date for Tuesday, but I would have had to travel to her, and they only wanted to do an hour. I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin. My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being. I really hope we can make it happen."
Soon after, Musk reacted to Rogan's update and stated that he'd be interested to watch them converse on the show. He wrote:
"Good clarification. I would definitely watch that podcast. Hour 2 would be [melting face emoji]."
Donald Trump speculates outcome of Joe Rogan interviewing Kamala Harris
As mentioned, Donald Trump recently made an appearance on the JRE podcast. During his conversation with Joe Rogan, the former POTUS brought up Kamala Harris potentially appearing on the show and speculated how she would deal with a no-holds-barred conversation.
On the JRE podcast (#2219), Trump asked Rogan if he would consider having Harris on the show. The UFC commentator replied in the affirmative and said:
"I could imagine her doing this show. She was supposed to do it, she might still do it and I hope she does. I would talk to her like a human being. I would try to have a conversation with her... I think we'd have a fine conversation."
While Rogan appeared optimistic about the potential interview, Trump didn't think his presidential opponent would hold her own and said:
"I hope she does because it would be a mess. She would be lying on the floor comatose. She'd be saying, 'Call in the medics.'"
