Joe Rogan and Elon Musk raise eyebrows at the COVID-19 vaccine's fast-track approval and efficacy: "It's fu*king crazy"
Joe Rogan and Elon Musk discussed COVID-19 in depth during the latter's recent appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE). Among several other points, the duo also questioned the timeline within which the COVID-19 vaccine was approved.
This is far from the first time Rogan talked about COVID-19 on the platform of his famous podcast. Earlier, he had advocated for the usage of Ivermectin to treat COVID-19. But he and the 'X' CEO questioned the role of COVID researchers this time.
Rogan and Musk were on the same page regarding their opinion about COVID-19 being a man-made disease. Musk sarcastically questioned the need to conduct research behind "bio-weapons." From his words, Rogan pulled up another point and questioned how the research authorities could not have an antidote for the worst-case scenario. The JRE host said:
"You researched on that, and the idea behind this research is so that we can cure these things [COVID-19]. How can you not have a fu**ing cure?"
Rogan also said:
"Is that why you gotta make up this new vaccine in record time, operational work speed, and release it to the people with very little testing? It’s f*cking crazy."

Joe Rogan faced backlash for his comments on COVID-19
Joe Rogan previously questioned the authorities' measures to treat COVID-19 as well. He mentioned that he had COVID-19 in a previous episode of JRE.
However, in the same episode, Rogan said he had been treating himself with Ivermectin. Rogan's COVID-19 treatment sparked fierce protests among a significant section of the US population, including singers Neil Young and Joni Mitchell.
Spotify, the then-platform of JRE, erased several episodes after its own employees protested against Rogan's claims about COVID-19. Nonetheless, the backlash didn't deter him, as his continues to be the biggest podcast on the planet, per Chartable.
