Joe Rogan explains how he tried to stop Fear Factor from getting canceled: "Lost a job because people had to drink c*m"

In his latest comedy special 'Burn The Boats', Joe Rogan revealed that he tried to stop the show Fear Factor from being canceled. The UFC commentator previously hosted the show from 2001 to 2006.

Before Rogan became mostly recognised for his podcast or his voice during UFC pay-per-views, the stand-up comic was the host of the stunt/dare game show. The show pitted a mix of men and women against one another and tasked them with doing outrageous challenges, with the winner eventually taking home $50,000.

After a six-season run, the show was canceled in 2006. It was then briefly revived in 2011 for a seventh season and Rogan returned to his hosting duties for eight episodes. MTV later picked up the show in 2017, which was hosted by US rapper Ludacris.

Since the show's cancellation, Joe Rogan has regularly mentioned his time on Fear Factor during his stand-up specials and on multiple episodes of his podcast. Recently, the JRE host specifically mentioned the reason of the cancellation of the show during his new Netflix exclusive stand-up special. He said:

"Fear Factor was canceled because we made people drink donkey c*m. I think I'm the only guy in the history of Hollywood that lost a job because people had to drink c*m. Usually that's how you get a day job...It wasn't my idea, I just worked there!...I then said words I never thought I'd say: 'I don't think you should make people drink c*m on TV'. When I'm the voice of the reason, you got a really f*cked-up program!"

Joe Rogan reacts to Imane Khelif Olympic controversy

Joe Rogan opted not to pull any of his punches when he offered his take on the controversy surrounding Algerian boxer Imane Khelif at the Paris Olympics.

Khelif has found herself at the heart of controversy over recent weeks, stemming from her disqualification from the Women's Boxing World Championships last year. In a test conducted by the International Boxing Association (IBA), Khelif's test results reportedly revealed she had XY chromosomes.

The Algerian was then allowed to compete at the Olympics this year after the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced they no longer recognized the IBA and their testing.

Rogan then weighed in on the drama during episode #161 of the JRE MMA Show, where he bluntly stated that Khelif is "a man", despite her being born female. He said:

"They failed gender eligibility tests? That means they're transgender. The boxer's [Imane Khelif] chromosome came back as XY, so that's a male. That's a man... I know it sounds horrible to misgender someone and all that stuff, all that's great until you wanna fight women or even compete against women. Cut the sh*t."
