Joe Rogan is "f**king" terrified by alarming increase in rate of euthanasia in Canada: "It's nuts to have people benefit financially"
Joe Rogan recently had renowned investigative journalist Michael Shellenberger over in his Joe Rogan Experience podcast. Shellenberger is famous for his courage to investigate controversial subjects with wicked honesty and insightful wisdom.
One of the interesting topics the two spoke about is the advent of euthanasia in Canada. For those who are unaware, euthanasia is the act of painless killing of patients who are suffering from painful and/or incurable diseases. Some call this act "mercy killing" and "assisted suicide", which is banned in most countries around the world.
On the subject, Shellenberger said (1:46:01):
"Should you be free to commit suicide? I think you should. That's different from having a goverment program to assist it...It starts with [the goverment saying], 'we're not going to promote it'. But in fact the people that are involved in assisting suicide are basically selling it."
In reply, Rogan said:
"It's nuts to have people benefit financially from people deciding to kill themselves...I mean, the numbers of the people that they helped kill themselves last year are f**king terrifying."

Joe Rogan tells Michael Shellenberger what he really thinks US mass shooters have in common
During the aforementioned podcast episode, Joe Rogan and Michael Shellenberger also talked about the malignant level of frequency of mass shootings in the US. The two particularly mentioned Colt Gray, suspect in the Apalachee High School Shooting in Georgia, USA back in September. The alleged shooting cost the lives of four people, two students and two teachers.
Gray's gender orientation was mentioned in the conversation, in which Rogan explained that a narrative has come out that the majority of mass shooters lately identify as trans.
Rogan said:
"The reality is the majority of the last few school shooters have been trans. This is also something that's conveniently left out of the discussion. [But] that's not even the real problem. It's not like trans people are violent. The real problem is psychiatric drugs. And that's the thing that no one wants to make a connection with. How many of these mass shooters are on psychiatric drugs and the answer is the majority of them."
While the Associated Press and Reuters have reported and fact-checked that it's mostly cis men that make up the majority of US mass shooters, Rogan's real point of psychiatric drugs being responsible might be something worth looking into.
