Joe Rogan gives Adam Sandler health advice, explains how to get back in shape: "You got money"
Joe Rogan recently provided some health advice to Adam Sandler and encouraged the actor to get back in shape. The actor is known for his comedy rather than his physique, however, he did undergo an impressive physical transformation in the past.
In 2008, the 'SNL' alum starred in 'You Don't Mess with the Zohan', which saw him play a counter terrorist that moves to New York and becomes a hairstylist. The role saw him undergo a physical transformation as he looked noticeably more ripped than his previous comedy 'I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry', which were released the previous year.
During his appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience, the actor told the UFC commentator that he frequently plays basketball as a way of keeping fit. Rogan encouraged Sandler to start working out again and mentioned that he should use his resources to get back to his similar 2008 peak shape. He said:
"The whole thing is just not overdoing it in the beginning. Start slow where it's maintainable and then slowly build up, that's the key...The thing is people try to go too hard...then you're too tired and then you're so fu**ing sore in the morning...Give your body enough where it's pushing it but it's not exhausted, you're not breaking your body down...If you really wanna be serious about it, just hire somebody, you got money."
