Joe Rogan gives honest take on Tulsi Gabbard, spills the secret behind her "crazy" white streak: "She was helping people that got blown up"

Joe Rogan recently shared his thoughts on Tulsi Gabbard and opened up about the "crazy white streak" in her hair. Gabbard is a former U.S. Army Reserve officer and a former U.S. Representative for Hawaii's 2nd Congressional district.

While she started her political career as a Democrat, she became an Independent in 2022 before joining the Republican Party in 2024. Gabbard notably served in a field medical unit of the Hawaii Army National Guard in Iraq when she was deployed there from 2004 to 2005. She was also stationed in Kuwait from 2008 to 2009 as an Army Military Police platoon leader.

In a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast with stand-up comic Theo Von (JRE #2226), the UFC commentator opened up about his appreciation for Gabbard and speculated upon the streak of white hair she sported. He said:

"Tulsi's a good friend of mine. I love her, she's great. She's an awesome person... She served as a congresswoman for eight years, and the whole time, she was against the divide of right vs. left. She was always trying to be cool with everybody... She was deployed overseas in a medical unit."

Rogan continued:

"So she was helping people who were blown up during war... That's why she got that crazy white streak in her hair. That all came from the stress of working overseas in a medical unit."

Gabbard notably addressed the white streak of hair and confirmed she started "greying in that spot" during her first tour of Iraq. She also stated that she chose to keep her unique hair as a reminder of "the everyday cost of war and the importance of peace" in the world.

Joe Rogan lauds Elon Musk for creating "fork in the road" with X acquisition

Joe Rogan recently heaped praise on Elon Musk for buying X (formerly Twitter) and potentially changing the course of history. Musk bought the globally-famous social media platform for $44 billion in 2022 and has made several policy changes to the company since.

In a recent episode of the JRE podcast with Musk (#2223), Rogan lauded the tech billionaire for saving free speech and preventing censorship from taking over. He said:

"I'm not exaggerating when I say I think you've changed the course of history. I really do. I think you made a fork in the road, we were heading down a path of censorship and control of narratives...What they were doing with social media by suppressing information, it was a combined government effort."
