Joe Rogan is happy that Belal Muhammad shut down critics with his UFC 304 title win: "Everybody has to shut the f**k up now"
Joe Rogan recently expressed his joy after Belal Muhammad was successful in shutting down his critics with his welterweight title win at UFC 304. 'Remember The Name' earned a unanimous decision win over Leon Edwards in his home country, which made the win more impressive.
The reigning UFC welterweight champion received plenty of criticism primarily for his wrestling-heavy fighting style, which has allowed him to overwhelm his opponents. His fighting style has resulted in fans criticising him because it's more of a tactical approach rather than the appealing striking style like that of Alex Pereira or Max Holloway.
During the latest episode of JRE MMA Show, the longtime UFC commentator heaped praise on 'Remember The Name' for proving his critics wrong in spectacular fashion. Rogan mentioned that Muhammad was unfairly criticized even prior to earning his long awaited title shot and noted that they can criticize anymore. He said:
"The champ is here. Everybody has to shut the f**k up now...There were so many doubters. So many naysayers, so many people didn't want you to get that title shot, it was so unfair, dude. It was really wild. It was wild to see...Cause I'm like, 'Are you guys not watching his fight? Like, what the fu** are you guys seeing?' I do not understand when people don't appreciate excellence."

Joe Rogan doesn't believe Belal Muhammad can be criticized after UFC 304
In addition to expressing his joy for Belal Muhammad shutting down his critics, Joe Rogan noted that he believes there can't be criticism anymore after his performance at UFC 304.
'Remember The Name' maintained a relentless pace and did an excellent job mixing in his takedowns with successful striking exchanges throughout his fight against Leon Edwards. During the aforementioned episode, Rogan mentioned that Muhammad surprised Edwards with his distance management and didn't allow him to get comfortable on his feet. He said:
"Just recognize what you did [to Edwards] cause you put so much pressure on him standing up. You were in his face from the very first second of the very first round. You just advanced and you could tell he wanted that space and you could tell it was a different experience than what he thought he was going to get from you."
