Joe Rogan and JD Vance condemn gender affirmation procedures in children, says puberty blockers "are making them miserable"
Joe Rogan is currently on a roll with his guests on his smash-hit podcast, Joe Rogan Experience. After his recent episode featuring former US president Donald Trump reaching record numbers in views in just a few days, the podcasting pioneer had Trump's running-mate, Republican party vice presidential candidate JD Vance.
One of the most interesting bits of the conversation was when the two started talking about puberty blockers, which Joe Rogan is vehemently against. For those who are unaware, puberty blockers are a kind of treatment used for transgender, intersex, and nonbinary individuals to halt or prevent puberty from happening. This causes the adolescent individuals to stop periods, breast and facial hair growth, and voice deepening from happening.
On the topic, Rogan said:
"A lot of these kids, they'll neve rhave children [again]. If they change their mind, if they, one day, decide that, 'Oh, I was just going through a confusing time in my life but now, I've ruined my voice with hormones, my ovaries are distroyed, I had my testicles removed.' The whole thing is crazy."
Vance then added that upon research, he found out that the "preposterous" claim that puberty blockers (especially those applied to kids 11 to 13 years old) are fully reversible is completely false even trans healthcare activists are denying it. He then said:
"Look, you have sexual disfunction, you have hair in weird places that won't go away. You have voice changes that won't go away. We're experimenting on tens of thousands of American children. We're making them miserable. It's not having a long-term health benefits [but] it's making a lot of pharmaceutical companies rich."

Joe Rogan slams conspiracy theorists claiming Trump assassination attempt was staged
Another interesting topic the two spoke about was the much-debated assassination attempt on Donald Trump back in June. Attending a campaign rally in Butler Township, Pennsylvania, a bullet intended for his head grazed Trump's ear.
Much debate has ensued on whether or not it's staged, with conspiracy theorists alleging the incident to be concocted to bolster the Republican candidate's popularity. Rogan had strong opinions against these theorists, claiming that it's a miracle that the bullet missed and that it's impossible to purposely hit someone's ear at that distance.
Rogan said:
"There's this stupid conspiracy out there. He's got a mark on his ear. I saw it. He has a mark on his ear and people are like, 'Why isn't there a hole in his ear?' Because it's just the edge of the skin [that] got hit. That's all it was...And for anybody who thinks that that was staged, you don't understand shooting. There's no way you can graze someone's ear from 120 yards."
