Joe Rogan lauds ONE for turning unheralded gems like Rodtang into global superstars: "Now everybody knows who he is"
⁴Joe Rogan thanks ONE Championship for introducing the world to some previously unsung heroes like Rodtang Jitmuangnon.
The reigning flyweight Muay Thai world champion has indeed turned into a household name in recent years after being given a global platform to showcase his awe-inspiring striking abilities.
Rogan, a staunch supporter of everything combat sports, certainly appreciates the charisma, skills, and bravado that Rodtang brings to the Circle.
The famed MMA analyst and podcaster said on The Joe Rogan Experience:
"It's exposing people to these guys who are just like super high-level strikers that you're not going to hear about. Like [they have] 200 fights, like Rodtang. Who would have heard of Rodtang if it wasn’t for ONE? Now everybody knows who he is."
Before capturing the hearts of fans in the world's largest martial arts organization, Rodtang tore through the unforgiving Muay Thai scene in his home country Thailand.
Then again, his immense prowess was only known by the purists of the sport, up until ONE put him on the global stage for the whole world to see.
Now, Rodtang is arguably one of the most notable faces in 'The Art of Eight Limbs'. What's not to love? The Thai destroyer hits like a truck, always moves forward with evil intent, and even willingly absorbs hard shots to the chin just for the fun of it.
