Joe Rogan points out how they painted Donald Trump as villain and are now elevating Kamala Harris: "This gaslighting is nuts"

Joe Rogan believes that Donald Trump is being painted as the villain, after Kamala Harris joined the running following Joe Biden's withdrawal from the US presidential race.

On episode #2188 of the Joe Rogan Experience (JRE), the UFC color commentator welcomed fellow stand-up comic and actor Adam Ray to the show. The pair then discussed a host of topics, including the presidential race, where Rogan weighed in on the current landscape.

The 57-year-old has regularly stated that he falls somewhere down the middle of American politics and typically remains neutral on his podcast. However, Rogan recently felt compelled to discuss the propaganda surrounding the race between Trump and Harris. He believes it's very evident that the former US president is being portrayed in a certain way. Rogan explained:

"The media are saying, 'He's old, she's young!' Have you f*cking seen her mistakes? This is crazy! This gaslighting is nuts. It's the same gaslighting they did to turn Trump into a monster and it's the same gaslighting they're doing to turn her [Kamala Harris] into our future. Our hope. And it's working. It's crazy to watch."

He continued:

"I just don't know if she's ever going to debate him [Trump]. What's that gonna be like? What are the media gonna say?"

Joe Rogan pushes back at those labeling Donald Trump as a "dictator"

Joe Rogan has pushed back against the narrative that Donald Trump would become a dictator, if he were to be re-elected as the President of the United States.

With the official US presidential election taking place on Nov. 5 later this year, Rogan has welcomed a host of guests on his podcast who have had their say on American politics.

Recently, Rogan welcomed Hollywood A-lister Dennis Quaid to the show, who stated that the US needs somebody like Trump in charge, especially with all the conflicts going on around the world. Quaid said:

"I think his heart was really in the right place. And not only that we need a really strong leader like that to deal with these as*****s that run the other world. There are some bad actors out there."

Rogan then chimed in and hit out at the media and members of the public who believe the 78-year-old would become a dictator if he stepped into power once again. He said:

"The wildest thing is people pretending that if he gets into office, he's going to become a dictator. As if he wasn't in office for four years and he was never a dictator."
