Joe Rogan praises "handsome fellow" Colin Farrell for his stunning 'Penguin' transformation

On episode #2205 of The Joe Rogan Experience, the longtime podcaster welcomed the hosts of The Legion of Skanks comedy podcast, during which they touched on an element of the recent 'The Penguin' miniseries. Rogan specifically expressed his astonishment over actor Colin Farrell's role in the show.

Farrell, for context, plays Batman supervillain mobster Oswald Cobb, who is known primarily as 'The Penguin' due to being a short, heavy-set man with a long, pointed nose. Rogan, while discussing how advanced modern prosthetics were, spoke about Farrell's physical transformation for the role.

"The thing is you could get fake t*ts put on you by prosthetic people. The same people that did 'The Penguin'. You see, what's his name, the handsome fellow? Colin Farrell. Handsome fellow, right? They made him look disgusting for 'The Penguin,' like they can give you t*ts, bro."

This isn't the first time that the veteran UFC commentator has spoken about, even in passing, the DC Extended Universe. He previously hosted world-renowned director Zack Snyder, who is responsible for several noteworthy superhero films like 'Man of Steel' and 'Justice League.'

Notably, Snyder and White spoke on episode #2114 of Rogan's podcast. In fact, Rogan himself was once an actor, having featured in several shows, including the likes of 'Hardball' and 'MADtv.' However, Rogan's most prominent television role prior to working as a UFC commentator was undoubtedly on 'Fear Factor.'

Now though, Rogan's acting days are far behind him, with his last time working as an actor being a minor cameo on 'Silicon Valley,' where he played himself.

Joe Rogan previously praised Colin Farrell's film 'The Batman'

While Colin Farrell's performance on 'The Penguin' miniseries has earned him widespread praise, he first played the role in the 2022 superhero film, 'The Batman,' which Joe Rogan praised as among the best he's ever seen. It is due to the reception of his performance as 'The Penguin' that led to him reprising the role.
