Joe Rogan praises how Matt Walsh paid people to appear on his movie 'Am I Racist?': "You got your money's worth"
Joe Rogan recently praised Matt Walsh for his latest movie, 'Am I Racist?' It is a documentary comedy that explores diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the United States.
Walsh, a U.S. political commentator, was the guest on episode #2204 of The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE). During the show, the pair discussed a host of topics, but they primarily focused on Walsh's new film and Rogan's reaction to watching it for the first time.
Released in theaters across the U.S. and Canada last weekend, 'Am I Racist?' features Walsh in the starring role, playing himself but occasionally in disguise playing a 'woke' DEI expert. The movie then sees Walsh speak with many individuals who are DEI experts, hoping he can uncover and debunk the ideology around its very framework.
While chatting about the film, Rogan highlighted one of his favorite scenes, which is when Walsh spoke to NYT bestseller Robin DiAngelo. During the scene, Walsh manages to trick DiAngelo into paying a black producer some money out of her own pocket.
The UFC color commentator couldn't contain his laughter and stated that the $15,000 Walsh and his team paid her for the interview was "worth" the money for that moment alone.
"There's so many moments that are so uncomfortable. The Robin DiAngelo one, where she gave that guy money! I feel like you got your money's worth with her [DiAngelo]. $15,000, totally worth it."

In the same episode of his podcast with Matt Walsh, Rogan had his say on Musk's ownership of X, believing the Tesla CEO should now be considered one of the most influential people in history. He said: (2:20:15)
"He's [Musk] literally one of the most significant human beings historically, ever. He's like a Nikola Tesla type character that people will be talking about 100 years from now... There's a lot of people out there who are fools who serve as education to others... Not him."
