Joe Rogan questions Kamala Harris' rapid rise in popularity amid Presidential bid: "Try googling a negative story on her, you won't find one"
Joe Rogan holds some skepticism regarding Kamala Harris' rise to prominence in the presidential race. Rogan's comments follow the recent developments after United States president Joe Biden dropped out of the 2024 presedential race against Donald Trump and endorsed his support to Harris.
Rogan's reservations are rooted in the transition of Harris' image from being dubbed as the "least popular vice president" to a celebrated political figure. In line with Rogan's assertion, the Morning Consult poll reported that 50% of registered voters now view Harris favorably.
The recent reports suggest a sharp contrast from the previous study. There has also been a 12-point swing in net approval, that fields Harris in a favorable spot in popularity ahead of both Biden and Trump.
Speaking in a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience with American author Michael Malice, Rogan took a pointed turn highlighting an alleged deeper, less transparent motive on the Democratic party's side. He said:
"Try googling a negative story on her. You won't find one... Well, it just shows you that what they're looking for is not what they say they're looking for. Because she [Tulsi Gabbard] is a strong woman. She is a person who served overseas twice in a medical unit. So she got to see people blown up by the war. She was a congresswoman for eight years.”
Rogan added:
"She is a person of color. She's everything you want, all those things you want, and you don't want her... Yes, well, she's also just not willing to play ball. There's a game that's being played, and if you're like, hey, you're not supposed to fu*king move the ball. Like, oh, look at this bit*h over here. Like, get out of here. You're gonna fu*k up our game. It's not real democracy. It's controlled parties.”

Joe Rogan claims Joe Biden's phone call to Kamala Harris was AI-generated
UFC color commentator Joe Rogan recently examined a video that tested the authenticity of Joe Biden's call to Kamala Harris after opting out of the 2024 United States presidential race.
The video uploaded on ElevenLabs suggested that the call was perhaps 98% AI-generated. Speaking about the call in an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience with comedian Bridget Phetasy, he said:
"[It] sounded like AI to me it sounded like there's a weird ... there's a weird fake expression, there's a, there's a smell, like when you, you hear, it there's a smell. It just seems, there's something—the 'heart and soul into me,' it's 'something into me,' it's like, it's a robot talking, it's Ex Machina."

However, it has now come to light that reports suggesting that the call was fabricated using AI cloning technology are false. DW Fact Check has corroborated the information and ElevenLabs has also released a statement on the matter.
