“F******g beast” - Joe Rogan reacts to Fabricio Andrade’s demolition job of John Lineker

ONE flyweight world champion Demetrious Johnson recently caught up with former co-worker Joe Rogan on the MMA personality’s podcast,‘The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE), to talk about a multitude of things.

One topic of conversation was the war between ONE bantamweight stars Fabricio Andrade and John ‘Hands of Stone’ Lineker at ONE on Prime Video 3.

Squaring off in the main event of the evening, Andrade and Lineker delivered fans a hard-hitting back-and-forth battle that left Joe Rogan particularly impressed with Andrade's performance.

“F**king beast man... F*cking beast. I’m like, look man, these guys are out there. He was putting the boots to Lineker.”

Demetrious Johnson shared his thoughts on the highly-entertaining scrap, saying in response to Joe Rogan:

“He’s a nasty man. Fabricio Andrade, absolutely amazing, his fight with John Lineker. John Lineker, he throws punches straight, hardly. It’s usually the wild, winging punches, right? He was timing that hook.”

As entertaining as the world title clash was, it unfortunately left fans with few answers as an errant knee thrown by Andrade landed low on Lineker, forcing a stop to the action.

With ‘Hands of Stone’ Unable to continue following the unintentional foul, the fight was called off and dubbed a no-contest just under the halfway point of the 25-minute duration.

Demetrious Johnson secures legacy with back-to-back wins over ONE Championship legends

After suffering the biggest loss of his career at ONE on TNT 1, Demetrious Johnson bounced back like a true legend does, securing two of the biggest wins of his career. After a knockout loss to Adriano Moraes in 2021, ‘Mighty Mouse’ found himself in the promotion’s first-ever mixed rules bout with ‘The Iron Man’ Rodtang Jitmuangnon.

Earning a second-round submission over the Muay Thai superstar, Johnson was tasked with righting the wrongs of his past in a rematch with then-flyweight titleholder Adriano Moraes.

This time, it would be Johnson who would come out on top, landing a beautifully timed flying knee to capture his first piece of ONE Championship gold.

In an interview with ‘The Schmo’ on YouTube, Johnson expressed gratitude for having the opportunity to compete with both Rodtang and Moraes.

“Obviously having the Rodtang [Jitmuangnon] fight too, someone who’s a very dominant striker and be able to go two rounds with him and then obviously fight Adriano for the second time, I’m grateful I was able to come out on top of that one.“
