Joe Rogan reacts to horrifying NSFW story about Jameson Whiskey heir allegedly watching cannibalism: "Oh boy"

During a recent episode of his podcast, Joe Rogan stumbled upon a 130-year-old story involving James S. Jameson, the heir to the Jameson Irish Whiskey fortune.

According to records from a colonial expedition to what is now the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 1888, Jameson allegedly paid for a young slave girl with handkerchiefs and then watched as she was killed and cannibalized. The story is documented in historical accounts where Jameson himself admitted to witnessing the gruesome event.

He later claimed he never intended for such a thing to happen and that he was horrified by what he saw. Speaking on episode #2333 of The Joe Rogan Experience, the UFC color commentator tried to make sense of the cultural and historical context. He said:

"Oh boy. Jameson insisted he did not set out with the intention of causing or witnessing any murder or act of cannibalism... the most horrifyingly sickening sight I am ever likely to see in my life... I mean somebody's like 'Give me a handkerchief,' but if you’re like 'What do you guys do, you guys eat people?' He’s like 'Give me a handkerchief and you'll see.'

Rogan added:

"First of all, I'd be terrified to not give him the handkerchief. Killing and eating people... Like the guy who got killed and eaten in Papua New Guinea, I bet he had no idea he offended them. He thought he was bargaining. You know, like if you don't know their culture and you're deeply offending them by wanting some sacred item that they have."

Joe Rogan sounds alarm over AI and calls it humanity’s next God

Joe Rogan believes artificial intelligence is heading toward godlike power fast. In a gripping podcast with Jesse Michels, he warned that by 2035, AI could become uncontrollable and worshipped like a deity.

Their discussion pointed to a controversial congressional bill that blocks AI regulation for the next decade. Rogan and Michels described a near future where AI influences markets, culture, and society itself.

Reading an article based on the bill on episode #2331 of The Joe Rogan Experience, he said:

"Relevant provision reads that no state or political subdivision may enforce any law or regulation regarding regulating artificial intelligence models, artificial intelligence systems, or automated decision systems during the 10-year period beginning on the date of enactment of this act... No state or political subdivision may enforce any law or regulation regulating artificial intelligence models for 10 years. It's so crazy. This means US states would be blocked from enforcing laws regulating AI and automated decision systems for 10 years. Well in 10 years we have a god. In 10 years."
