Joe Rogan reacts after sharks in Brazil reportedly test positive for cocaine
Popular MMA personality and podcasting legend Joe Rogan recently posted viral news about sharks testing positive for cocaine in Brazil. It's the latest of a series of bizarre news the world has been receiving lately - from Donald Trump getting shot to Joe Biden dropping out of the presidential race.
Rogan posted about the cocaine-addled sharks on his Instagram account, with the caption:
"Just when you thought things couldn’t get more fun on this season of earth. Coked up sharks!"
CNN reported that according to a paper published by the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation in Brazil, 13 Brazilian sharp nose sharks in the waters off Rio de Janeiro had cocaine present in both their livers and muscle tissues.
It was also observed that cocaine may have gotten to the sharks due to sewage discharges from people who use the illegal drug, as well as underground labs that produce it. This strange and potentially environmentally hazardous phenomenon could also attributed to the increasing consumption of cocaine around the world, with Brazil being the second largest consumer market in South America.
Joe Rogan reacts to recent news about Donald Trump's "bizarre" assassination attempt
Perhaps the craziest news to circulate in the news cycle in the past few weeks is the failed assassination attempt of former US president Donald Trump. The Republican presidential candidate was hit in the ear with a bullet after the shooter missed his shot by just a few centimeters.
In a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience with comedian Sam Morril, Rogan said this of the bizarre incident:
"The whole world is like basically some bizarre movie now. The Trump thing. The shooter. All the stuff that's coming out about the shooter... the more you read about it the more you're like, 'what's going on?' They knew there was a suspicious person 10 minutes before Trump went on stage."
Rogan continued:
"They saw him [shooter] on the f**king roof, and they didn't engage. They saw him on the roof with a rifle and they didn't engage. They wouldn't put Secret Service agents on the roof because there was a slope to the roof and it would be dangerous."
