Joe Rogan reveals Kamala Harris demanded to avoid a significant topic for potential JRE interview: "She put a lot of people in jail for weed"
Joe Rogan recently opened up about Kamala Harris not making an appearance on his podcast and revealed that she didn't want him to bring up certain topics that may be radioactive for her presidential election campaign. He also clarified that Harris' team put forth multiple conditions for her to talk to him on his show.
For context, President-elect Donald Trump made an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast last month as part of his 2024 U.S. Presidential election campaign. In the aftermath, Rogan revealed that he'd also extended an open invitation to Harris, but his offer was met with some resistance.
During a recent episode of Rogan's podcast with Adrienne Lapalucci (JRE #2227), the UFC commentator revealed that her team demanded he stay away from her controversial history with marijuana legalization and said:
"They had, I don’t know how many conversations with my folks, but multiple conversations giving different dates, different times, different this, different that, and we knew that she was going to be in Texas, so I said, ‘open invitation.' I think they had requirements on things that she didn't want to talk about, she didn't want to talk about marijuana legalization, which I thought was hilarious."
Upon being asked why Harris would want to avoid that particular subject, Rogan replied:
"Because of her prosecuting record. She put a lot of people in jail for weed." [H/t: Fox News]
