Joe Rogan reveals why Kamala Harris' JRE appearance fell through despite open invitation from the UFC commentator
Joe Rogan recently opened up about why Kamala Harris has yet to make an appearance on his podcast so far. The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) podcast host revealed that she had an "open invitation" to come on his show and was open to doing the interview at any time of the day.
For context, Rogan recently spoke to Donald Trump on his podcast, and the two men had a three-hour-long conversation that made waves online. Given that Trump and Harris are running against each other in the 2024 U.S. Presidential elections, many urged Rogan to invite the Democrat candidate on his show.
Rogan later clarified that she was extended an invitation, but her team notified him that she couldn't make time for it due to her campaigning schedule. However, the UFC commentator has made it clear that he's keen to speak to her on the JRE podcast and hopes she'll accept his invitation before the elections.
In a recent episode of his podcast (#2220), Rogan opened up about why Harris hadn't appeared on his show and said:
"She had an opportunity to come here when she was in Texas, and I [extended] an open invitation [to her]. I said, 'Anytime.' I said, 'If she's down at 10 o'clock, I'll come back here at 10 o'clock... She actually reached out when she found out that he [Trump] was coming on, so their camp reached out to me... But it was very difficult to tie it down, and they wanted to travel."
Rogan continued:
"If I go somewhere, there's going to be other people in the room, and they want to control a lot of things, I'm sure... My whole goal with her and with him was just to talk... I just want to talk to you, who the f**k are you?"

Joe Rogan and Donald Trump discuss the "nuttiest" aspect about Kamala Harris running for president
In the same episode, Joe Rogan touched upon the subject of Kamala Harris running for president while being in office as vice president. The famous podcaster spoke about the absurdity of a high-ranking public servant suspending their duties to run for office.
Speaking to his guests, Konstantin Kisin and Francis Foster, Rogan asked who's doing her duties as vice president while she's on her campaign trail and said:
"The nuttiest thing about running for president for re-election. In Kamala Harris' case, she's not necessarily really running for re-election because she's the Vice President. But she's also the Vice President who's running for President. So she has the second-most important job in the world, and she's not doing it because she has to run for the first-most important job. So who's doing the job?"
