"This first two weeks have been a lot of fun and I’m really enjoying the challenge of staying on top of it. Every day this month @seguratom @bertkreischer @arishaffir and I have committed to burning 500 calories in a workout and 100 pushups. Joe Rogan discusses the evolution of Charles Oliveira
Joe Rogan recently filmed a Fight Companion episode with Eddie Bravo and Brendan Schaub, two long-time friends and fellow martial arts fanatics.
The trio discussed the attributes that are needed in order to become a world champion. Schaub explained that in order to be a UFC titleholder in any of the weight classes between 135 and 170lbs, a fighter must know how to wrestle.
Rogan, however, replied by saying that someone like Charles Oliveira would welcome being taken to the ground due to his superior Brazilian jiu-jitsu skills.
"Or you have to be like Oliveira. Like, 'Good luck, take me down. I'll f***ing strangle you off my back.' You can't count Oliveira out against anyone. Something happened to him and... it's the birth of his daughter. When his kid was born, he just changed everything and became this ferocious f***ing assassin in there."
