Joe Rogan roasting people on his podcast gets seal of approval from former UFC champion

Glover Teixeira seems to be an admirer of Joe Rogan as the former light heavyweight champion detailed some of the famous podcaster's qualities that make him so well-liked by fighters and fans alike.

In an interview from 2021, Teixeira discussed the UFC commentator attending his fights in Brazil and praised the host of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast for being authentic and capable of staying true to himself, on and off the podcast cameras.

The Brazilian also detailed how he appreciates the 55-year-old regularly discussing overcoming hardships in life on his podcast and specifically when Rogan jokingly criticized whiners and moaners. Glover Teixeira stated:

"Joe Rogan is a great person... I think that's why he succeeds in life. He's a very real guy, he's not like that just on the podcast... He is passionate about sports, [especially] for this overcoming thing, you know? He preaches this a lot on his podcast... That's what the podcast is about...overcoming, having a better life, being a better person and helping people live better... He roasts people who keep complaining the f**k out. Stop complaining."

Joe Rogan praises Bruce Lee's contribution to the development of the sport of MMA

Joe Rogan recently heaped praise on famous Hollywood actor Bruce Lee for his valuable contributions to the development of the sport of MMA through his comprehension of fighting techniques as well as his massive influence on popular culture.

In a recent episode of the JRE podcast with Brian Redban (#1913), the famous comedian talked about how Lee's widely acclaimed film, Enter The Dragon, introduced cinemagoers to their first MMA fight in 1973. Rogan cited a scene from the film showing an armbar submission and stated:

"Bruce Lee was a legit martial artist, like really good. And also, a giant movie star. And also, a guy who is open-minded enough to incorporate all the [Martial] arts into what he called 'Jeet Kune Do'...

Rogan further added:

"First time, we ever see a tap, it's here in Enter The Dragon. And they bow afterwards. This is literally like an example for everybody to see of the first mixed martial arts fight and it was Bruce Lee."
