Joe Rogan's deep dive about immigration with guest John Fetterman has former UFC champ thankful
A former UFC champion recently thanked Joe Rogan for his unbiased take on immigration into the US. Rogan highlighted the crisis formed by the same and also mentioned how certain political parties use it to fulfill their objectives.
Rogan doesn't shy away from highlighting his beliefs loud and clear on the platform of his podcast, Joe Rogan Experience. The 57-year-old also had the ex-POTUS, Donald Trump, on the hot seat of his podcast a few days back.
However, it was the junior United States senator from Pennsylvania, John Fetterman, who took to the hot seat for episode no. 2222 of JRE. Rogan talked about a plethora of other topics during the episode. However, he laid special stress on how a certain political party constantly endeavors to win elections by planned settlement of illegal immigrants. Rogan also posted this section of the JRE episode to his Instagram.
"But there is an organization that's moving these people to swing states. There are a significant number of illegal immigrants that have made their way to swing states. And then there's been calls for Amnesty [International], there's been calls for allowing these people to have a pathway to citizenship and allow them to vote. The fear that a lot of [native] people have is that this is a coordinated effort... That you're allowing [illegal immigrants] to come into the country then you're providing them with all sorts of services like food stamps and housing and setting them up [just to gain votes]."
Former UFC bantamweight champ, Aljamain Sterling, was impressed by Rogan's take on the issue, thanking the Boston native for the same with a comment on his post. It read:
"Thank you, Joe, for helping the people! ππΎππΎππΎππΎ"
John Fetterman couldn't deny Joe Rogan's theory about immigration
John Fetterman didn't refute Joe Rogan's take on immigration. He accepted the 57-year-old's theory that immigration could be used as a tool to earn a massive number of votes. He also agreed that immigration was indeed changing the US.
However, Fetterman also tried to justify that the change wasn't for the worse. Highlighting the example of Texas, he said:
"Undeniably, immigration is changing our nation. I mean, I haven't spent a lot of time in Texas but it's very clear that immigration has remade Texas and I think it's generally for a good thing."
