Joe Rogan's honest take on Elon Musk's work ethic leads to grim speculations about the Tesla CEO: “I wouldn't want that job”

Joe Rogan and Elon Musk share a friendly relationship. Musk made his podcast debut on The Joe Rogan Experience on September 7, 2018, in episode #1169. During his debut appearance on JRE, he took a puff of a marijuana joint, which made international headlines.

The UFC commentator has repeatedly defended Musk on the broadcast and has always spoken positively about him.

In episode #2246 of JRE, UFO investigator and documentary filmmaker James Fox and Rogan praised Musk's breakthroughs in aeronautics and vehicles, particularly Tesla.

During the show, Fox recounted a story about a neighbor who worked for the Tesla CEO and also owned a Tesla. When the UFO enthusiast asked precisely why he stopped working, the neighbor replied:

"I don’t work for Elon anymore… I was at the hospital with my wife and she was giving birth to our first child and Elon’s like I need you in the office…"

Rogan went on to speak about how working for Musk requires dedication and sacrifice and said

"He [Elon Musk] was working 16 hours a day and sleeping on the floor. Well, he demands out of other people too... Maybe you want that, maybe you don’t. And if you don’t, you can’t work there. It’s just that simple. If you want that hop on it… that’s not a life for me. I wouldn’t want that job."

Joe Rogan fired an arrow at a Tesla Cybertruck

Before Elon's fourth appearance on JRE, Joe Rogan tested the durability of the Tesla Cybertruck by firing an arrow at it. Following a successful durability test, he revealed on his Instagram page:

"Turns out a @teslamotors cyber truck is arrow proof too. Podcast with the big guy drops today."
