Joe Rogan's latest take on free speech censorship earns one-word reaction from Elon Musk
On episode #2220 of The Joe Rogan Experience, the popular podcaster shared his thoughts on free speech, once again drawing Elon Musk's attention. During a conversation with comedian Francis Foster and social critic and author Konstantin Kisin, he offered a detailed take on freedom of speech.
According to Rogan, allowing promoters of controversial schools of thought and ideologies the space to talk is vital, as he believes the only way to counter said ideas is through the propagation of better ones. This, however, cannot be achieved through censorship.
Rogan said:
"For me, the liberals were the ones who wanted education and open-mindedness. Liberals, who are the ones with the ACLU, who let the Nazis talk and let them have a rally. You can't infringe on people's free speech because if you infringe on the speech of people you disagree with, you're being a f***ing hypocrite. The only solution to bad speech is better speech. We've always known that."
